Bill A-416 could be voted on by the New York State Assembly as early as January, 6th. It is a serious threat to personal freedom, and very likely violates the New York State Constitution.
Bill A-416 would allow the Governor and health authorities to detain and forcibly vaccinate New Yorkers without normal due process.
This kind of outrageous trampling on personal freedom and government overreach must be opposed!
It is possible that the vote could come in only two days…Please take action today!
You can contact your New York State Assemblyman and Senator in one easy step using one simple contact form that LifeSiteNews.com is making available to all of its readers. It is called Voter Voice and it will automatically match you to your representative’s email and Twitter accounts.
With one click, your message is sent directly to your representative(s), without having to look up any of their contact details. Additionally you will have the option to call their office.
Specifically, the bill, introduced by Assemblyman Nick Perry (District 58), states that a person who has been detained “shall not continue to be detained once the health department determines” that he or she is “no longer is or will become contagious.”
And, in addition to this vague removal and detention order, Bill A-416 would also empower state officials to forcibly vaccinate on obtaining a prior court order. Section 12 of the Bill states the following:
“THE GOVERNOR OR HIS OR HER DELEGEE MAY, IN HIS OR HER DISCRETION,…REQUIRE AN INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO OR INFECTED BY A CONTAGIOUS DISEASE TO COMPLETE AN APPROPRIATE, PRESCRIBED COURSE OF TREATMENT, PREVENTIVE MEDICATION OR VACCINATION, INCLUDING DIRECTLY OBSERVED THERAPY TO TREAT THE DISEASE AND FOLLOW INFECTION CONTROL PROVISIONS FOR THE DISEASE…”
Please contact your New York State Assemblyman or Senator (and, Governor Cuomo) to tell them that you oppose Bill A-416 because of its appalling assault on personal and medical freedom.
